The Inn At Buck Hollow A Terrific Country Inn Located in Fairfax, Vermont
AP Travel News – All Bed and Brealfast Inn’s are not the same, they are a factor of their owners personalities. The Inn At Buck Hollow has great owners, Brad and Jacquie Schwartz, together with their 400-acre property, their 4-unit Inn is extremely bright and comfortable and solar powered too! We are here for two nights and wish we had time for 5-more. The slate floor in the common room, antiques, early American folk-art, clocks and windows that look out to a forest replete with deer and at least two moose is rather exceptional for us. To be a part of this place for even those two days and nights was delightful. We had lemon pancakes for breakfast with their own home manufactured maple syrup. The coffee; Green Mountain of course, said Brad Schwartz, Innkeeper. Along with his artist, vegan wife, Brad has had this property and developed it (not the land, it’s kept in it’s original wild state) into a great Inn. A heated pool, hot tub, miles of walking trails, very pet friendly, a full blown sugar house operates during sap-season (you can purchase various sizes of maple syrup jugs too) we bought syrup as gifts for our sweet teeth and friends too when they come over for waffles and pancakes! Breakfast like Cheri made for us at the Inn. Wow! It was great! A pieceful place to be. For day trips, St. Albans and Burlington are an easy drive.
This will be a great place to book a room for foliage season. Get in touch with the Schwartz’s and at 800-849-7985 or check out their website: www.buckhollow.com.
